Two for One
The original grant from the Washngton Commission for Humanities was to research and develope a teleplay with contemporary Puget Salish focus. During research I encountered stories that demanded their own focus. This resulted in a one act stage play. The original teleplay "Angeline a Spirit Song" received a reading, directed by Tim Bond, at the Pacific Science Center's Sea Monster House (a Long House replica) sponsored by the Seattle Arts Commission through the Washington State Arts Alliance Foundation. The one act stage play "A Change of Worlds" received a staged reading by the Group Theatre Company at the Ethnic Theatre, directed by Tim Bond and Donald Matt, featuring a multi ethnic cast. It was sponsored by the Washington Commision for the Humanities and Seattle Arts Commission.
