Life Times

An Award Winning Community Effort

Life Times was written under the Seattle Arts Commission's Artist-in-Residence grant program in 1983 and produced with a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission in 1984. It aired on Seattle's KTCS 9 Public Television & Group W Cable, in March, 1984. KCTS provided post production, editing facilities and assistance. Group W provided recording equipment and materials. The production involved an amazing number of people who volunteered time, skills, talent, locations and dedication. It was an all volunteer, technically challenged novice production which ended up winning First Place in the 1984 Northwest (Portland) Film & Video Festival.
