A Nobel Prize Winner

The 2021 Nobel laureate, Maria Ressa, was an aspiring playwright when I captured her work-shopping her play (Sagitarius) at the Group Theatre Company's American Minority Playwright's Festival. She, William S. Yellowrobe, Jr. (Sneaky) and Kermit Frazer (Intertices), the other Festival winners, let me follow them around for several days of the intimate experience of putting their plays in the hands of directors and bodies of actors. All three went on to much greater accomplishments and my documentary of their experience went on to garner an Emmy nomination and was a HomeTown USA Video Festival winner.
