Beginnings, Middles & Ends

Prime Sports Northwest's main business was broadcasting regional sports, everything from high school championships to College Football and Basketball and Major League Baseball games. But it also produced programming around and about the leagues and teams it covered. All of which (games and programming) required appropriate "packaging" around and within. Many times creating that packaging meant augmenting our in-house capabilities with high end animations and graphics from specialized video production houses. In those cases, instead of being the hands-on creator/editor, I was the producer; showing up with carefully selected clips or other material, and an idea. These were expensive places that required a lot of preparation, good communication, a willingness to listen and learn and an eye on the clock. The sample image shown here was part of a Telly Award winning effort.

Telly Awards

----------
The Tellys honor excellence in video and television across all screens. Founded in 1979 to honor local, regional and cable television commercials, with non-broadcast video and television programming added soon after. Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world. The Telly Awards recognizes work that has been created on behalf of a client, for a specific brand and/or company (including your own) or self-directed as a creative endeavor.
